USING TIP TOP SC-2000 AND UTR HARDNER

• Splicing of conveyor belts using our process and materials has a large number of advantages from Industrial utility and financial point of views.
• No heat source is required which in this process is generally high voltage of electricity. Vulacanising jobs by cold process can therefore be performed even at remote sites where no special electricity can be provided.
• Avoids use of heavy heating presses thereby reducing capital investment. Only on small hand tools made for the prupose are used.
• Maintenance cost of equipment is NIL.
• Repair job can be performed on location site itself as no heavy / fixtures are required.
• The downtime in cold process is much less than in hot process. This is a proved and established fact. A longer downtime for the repair of a transport conveyor belt say, in a Coal, Steel, Cement plant can adversly affect the output and cause heavy financial losses.
• Shelf life of our German manufactured cold vulcanising materials is more than hot vulcanising materials.

WITH TIP TOP REMAGRIP ANTI-WEAR FRICTION LINERS

Cold vulcanising anti wear friction rubber liner sheets of various types and qualities such as Remaline 35, Remaline 40, Remaline 60, Remaline 65, Remaline 70, Remaline 90 and many more are produced by our German principals. Depending on the requirement suitable liner sheets are chosen. Beside a large range of rubber qualities produced by them each of the above mentioned quality is produced in various thickness and widths in form of sheets as long as 10 mtrs. long. This enables lagging of any size of conveyor drums upto 2000 mm width in a single piece avoiding joining of pieces. This is a difference uncompetable by any other product in the world.

The surface of the sheet to be bonded to the steel drum has a chemical bonding layer known as CN bonding layer which reacts chemically to cold vulcanising solution SC-2000 and hardener UTR. The distance between the grooves is 50mm and the sheets are available in 8, 10 and 12 mm thickness For futher details contact us.

Remagrip sheets are grooved for self alignment of the conveyor belts.

The salient feature of the CN the bonding layer is that the bonding surface of the sheet need not be buffed before it is bonded to the steel drum. The sheet is directly fixed on to the drum by applying a coat of the SC-2000 cement and RF Hardner mixture.
